Last week we were talking about business planning for 2018, and today have a fantastic guest on the show, Jules Schroeder of Unconventional Life, who shares how she actually got better results in her business when she just acknowledged what was right in front of her, stopped planning and just really went with the flow. So it’s going to be a great way for you to look at the both sides of the coin and wager if there’s actually a place for you to use both of these approaches in your business. I personally really believe in the value of the plan and having a goal, but once you are confident and really clear on those, I think you also need to be open to some serendipity and see when good opportunities present themselves. And that’s what we’ll be talking about in this week’s episode. Jules shares about the transformation she’s gone through in her business, how she’s really learnt to let go and go with the flow. I love how she defines allowing things to happen effortlessly as a ‘minimum movement maximum impact’, and how she explains that taking one steps forward can actually get you to take ten steps out.
We dig into the idea of ‘if it’s not a HELL YES – it’s a NO’ and being really aligned and enthusiastic about what you are doing in your business. Jules shares how tapping into your intuition can help you find confidence when making decisions, not only in your business, but in also your life and what it looks like to be living on your own terms. You’ll hear today some valuable tips and tools to use to start listening to yourself and tune in with your body, and learn the best ways to support yourself to be the leader, be more productive and bring all your visions to life.
Speaking of going with the flow, it doesn’t mean you don’t need to be organized! One of the things I decided to do in season 2 of the podcast is to also share with you one of my favorite business tools every week, and today I’ll be mentioning Acuity Scheduling, an online scheduling app that’s really made my life so much more organized this past year by helping me stay on top of my agenda, especially these past few months when I decided to follow my passion and go on an adventure of a lifetime.
