You’re probably familiar with using medicinal herbs as teas – but what about using them in our soups and broths? In Chinese culture, soups are used as a daily nourishment filled with specially chosen herbs and vegetables to balance the body. I’ve been fascinated (and daunted!) by the idea of including these herbs in my own soups and broths, so this week I invited Peggie Zih, naturopath and herbalist, onto the podcast to talk to us about the traditional usage of medicinal soups – and how we can start to add herbs into our own soups at home, and what herbal soups are good for!
